GSSSB Recruitment 2014 

GSSSB (Gujarat Secondary Service Selection Board) has notified about the vacant posts existing in the Board. The posts include Library Assistant; Chemical Assistant and Library Clerk Etc. Designations:

Library Clerk, Texi Dermist, Chemical Assistant, Assistant Librarian

Age Limitation:

 

For Library Clerk Post, candidate’s minimum age should be in between 18yrs to 28yrs while for the other posts, the age requirement is 18yrs to 30yrs. The age will be reckoned with respect to last date of the application submission. Granting relaxation in maximum age is also applicable to the reserved class applicants and Female applicants.

Academic Details:

 

Library Clerk: It is required for the candidates to hold the Library Science Certificate after passing Matriculation. 

Texi Dermist: Candidate should hold the B.Sc (Zoology) degree from the recognized university. 

Chemical Assistant: Candidate should have completed Graduation degree (Chemistry) from the recognized university. 

Assistant Librarian: Candidate should have completed Graduation degree (Library & Information Science).

Cost of Application:

 

Applicants having the essential qualifications and willingness to apply need to deposit Rs 100/- as application charges. Rs 12/- has to be paid towards Postal Charges.

Selection Method:

The candidates will be hired on the basis of the written exam and Interview. The detailed information regarding written test syllabus, scheme is made available by the Board in the official advertisement.
