Anna University, Chennai has today published the Counselling Schedule for this year, 2011 and the detailed information about the schedule is available now.
According to the notification, individual communications are being sent to candidates calling them to appear for counselling. Eligible candidates, who have applied and whose total marks are as specified or above, may appear for counselling along with their original certificates for verification, irrespective of the receipt of individual communication. the notification says.

The COUNSELLING WILL BE HELD AT THE EXAMINATION CENTRE, ANNA UNIVERSITY, CHENNAI 600 025.
Outstation candidates, who are quite new to Chennai need not worry about the location of the Anna University. It is on the bus route from Saidapettai to Adyar on one side and on the reverse from Adyar to Guindy or Saidapettai. Students coming through trains which reach CHENNAI EGMORE can use 23 C, to reach the Anna University. It is a well known and prominent place and every one knows about its locality, hence newcomers to Chennai need not worry. Candidates reaching through CHENNAI CENTRAL can reach Saidapettai by one bus and change for another bus proceeding towards Adyar.
The counselling for SPECIAL RESERVATION under SPORTS QUOTA is scheduled on 30.06.2011.
FOR GENERAL CATEGORY STUDENTS, the counselling starts on 08.07.2011 and ends on 11.08.2011.
